Giovanni Antonio Lorenzini ( 1665-1740 ), Moses strikes the rock

after Francesco Petrucci after the painting by  Jacopo Bassano.  Etching , 47.5 x 75 cm (sheet). Plate taken from "Raccolta de' quadri dipinti dai più famosi pennelli posseduti da S. A. R. Pietro Leopoldi", a series that reproduces paintings in the Palazzo Granducale in Florence,  commissioned  by Ferdinando de' Medici but published only in 1778. 

Very fine, fresh, crisp impression on laid paper. Sheet in very good condition except for traces of a barely visible central crease and a lack on the upper margin.
