EROL Jakub (1941 - 2018) polski grafik, autor plakatów, zaliczany docgrona najwybitniejszych przedstawicieli polskiej szkoły plakatu. Studiował pod kierunkiem prof. Henryka Tomaszewskiego na ASP w Warszawie. Współpracował z Krajową Agencją Wydawniczą oraz Centralą Dystrybucji Filmów , dla której przygotował kilkaset plakatów filmowych do filmów polskich i zagranicznych. Za swoją twórczość w dziedzinie plakatu był wielokrotnie wyróżniany i nagradzany m.in.: Laureat Ogólnopolskiego Biennale Grafiki (1973, 1985) i Międzynarodowego Biennale Plakatu (1986), prestiżową nagrodą im. Tadeusza Trepkowskiego. Został pochowany na Starym Cmentarzu w Łodzi.

EROL Jakub (1941 - 2018) Polish graphic artist, author of posters, counted among the most prominent representatives of the Polish poster school. He studied under the supervision of prof. Henryk Tomaszewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He collaborated with the National Publishing Agency and the Film Distribution Headquarters, for which he prepared several hundred film posters for Polish and foreign films. For his work in the field of posters, he has been awarded and awarded many times, including: Laureate of the Polish Graphic Biennale (1973, 1985) and the International Poster Biennale (1986), the prestigious Tadeusz Trepkowski. He was buried in the Old Cemetery in Łódź.
