Rare and particular portrait of Giuseppe Piermarini, realized with the technique used by Claude Mellan for the "Veil of Veronica", with the single burin line turning in spiral. The chiaroscuro effect is created by the changing pressure on the burin.
Fine and rare impression, with the platemark clearly visible. Sheet in good condition, glued along the top edge on the modern support.
